Immunization Requirements FOR GHANA

At MNA Ghana – African Travel we offer the opportunity to go on tour with likeminded individuals who desire a new vacation experience which incorporates history, culture, adventure, night life and more.

Please visit https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/ghana for all required and recommended vaccinations prior to visiting Ghana. and https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/ghana/traveler/packing-list for the Ghana Healthy Travel Packing List.

Please note

Documentation of yellow fever vaccination is required in Ghana. Make sure you are vaccinated before you go or you may be denied entry to the country.
Currently, the yellow fever vaccine availability in Canada and the United States is limited. If you need to be vaccinated before your trip, you may need to schedule an appointment well in advance.
Malaria is always a serious disease and may be a deadly illness. You will need to take prescription medicine before, during, and after your trip to prevent malaria. Your doctor can help you decide which medicine is right for you, and also talk to you about other steps you can take to prevent malaria. Be sure to bring mosquito repellents/net to stay protected particularly in rural areas.
